Agriphoria is a series of events conducted by IAAS Indonesia consisting:
Localure is Infographic Competition that aimed to introduce the use of agricultural commodities as local products that can have business value and help the economy of the local community.
Youth Agricareture or YACT is a social project initiated by IAAS Indonesia and aims to increase youth awareness of agriculture.
YACT has been held since 2016 with the theme:
2016: Pulses of the Year
2017: Zero Hunger
2018: Food Diversification
2019: Zero Waste
YACT was implemented simultaneously by 8 Local Committees of IAAS Indonesia, there were: Institut Pertanian Bogor (Bogor), Universitas Padjajaran (Bandung), Universitas Diponegoro (Semarang), Universitas Sebelas Maret (Solo), Universitas Gajah Mada (Yogyakarta), Universitas Brawijaya (Malang), Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (Banjarmasin), and Universtas Mataram (Mataram).
In this year, it will be held on 11 Local Committees including Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Universitas Jember, and Universitas Udayana (Bali).
IAAS National Workshop is a workshop introducing Value-Based Supply Chain (VBSC) to young people who are members of community mobilizers to building capacity and how to become a sociopreneurship in this pandemic by implementing VBCS.
4. IAAS Summit
This year, IAAS Summit is aimed to sharpening the youth’s role and knowledge in setting up impactful solutions in facing “The New Normal” through Sustainable Agriculture. There will be an International Seminar with an expert from goverment, professional, businessman, and also NGO.
Through this program can realize SDG’s Number 2 “Zero Hunger”, Number 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth”, and Number 12 Responsiible Consumption and Production.
Agriphoria is aimed to raise youth ethusiasm and interesr in agriculture particulary in Community Empowerment Through Sustainable Agriculture with talk show, workshop, competition, and social campaign.
