Overview

IAAS is the only international students association related to life sciences. An internship abroad with IAAS gives you the opportunity to meet people involved in the same field of study as you. Moreover, the internships are organized by students. The personalized contact with the local committees can help you to explore the country of destination as an insider which is a unique experience and a once in a lifetime opportunity!​

EXPROINTER Category

• Ceres: Internships of farms
• Archimedes: Internships in companies, organizations, universities or research institutions
• Libertas: Community based projects, mostly voluntary work.

EXPROINTER Duration

• Minimum duration: 3 weeks
• Maximum duration: 1 year

Eligibility

All applicants have to be students (IAAS Member) or have graduated within 24 months from an agricultural or related sciences program.

Fee

Indonesia (Country Category B) = €75

What are the program aims?

Through cultural immersion and hands-on experience, our program fosters personal and professional growth by equipping students with practical skills, intercultural competencies, leadership abilities, and the chance to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while engaging with diverse communities and broadening their understanding of social issues.

What are not the aims of EXPROINTER?

While our international internship programs offer invaluable professional experience and cultural immersion, they are not intended for short-term financial gain, extended vacations, permanent relocation, or recruitment by host organizations. We support temporary professional growth, not job search or migration.
